Alcohol Awareness Month

Alcohol was just one of my many drug addictions growing up. This is why alcohol awareness month sort of hits home to me. This month alone I have done about 20 radio interviews along the topics of alcohol, binge drinking, and drinking and driving. I feel this is the best way to promote the dangers that come along with alcohol abuse.

My story touched someone

Last week I was doing a radio interview and the topic was A True Story Of An Ex-Drug Addict. I was telling the listening audience how I overcome my methamphetamine addiction. I found out later that my story touched a grandmother whose grandaughter was going through the same situation with methamphetamine . Later that day, I talked to the girl and the mom and dad and she came into our rehab program the next day. This was a very huge win for me knowing that I directly helped someone confront their addiction and make the decision to live their life drug free.

Path to recovery

This week Narconon Arrowhead had over 700 people reach out to get help for their drug or alcohol addiction problem. I'm glad we are here to help them get on the path to recovery.

Reaching for help

This week, 880 people reached for help from Narconon Arrowhead with their battle against addiction. It is devestating knowing that this many people are suffering from drug addiction. But, it's also wonderful knowing that this many people are getting help to overcome their addiction.

Radio Frequency

This week the promotional area of Narconon Arrowhead did 28 radio shows nationwide which aired more than 290 times! One of my favorite jobs here is talking to the public about the dangers of drug and alcohol use. I love this job.

Addicted to Alcohol

Right now there are approximately 14 million Americans addicted to alcohol. Rehabilitating alcoholics is one of Narconon Arrowhead's specialities.

It feels really good to be a part of a group this is helping individuals overcome their addiction - whatever it may be.

Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine is one of, if not the fastest growing drugs of abuse in America today.

Through radio interviews nationwide I disseminate information about signs to look for in meth addicts. This is just one of our drug of our drug education and awareness methods that we use here at Narconon Arrowhead, which is one of the nation's largest and most successful drug rehabilitation and education programs.

Millions Using Drugs

Right now, there are 22 million individuals struggling through addiction. 786 of these individuals reached for help by calling Narconon Arrowhead. This may seem like a small percentage from the big picture, but it is 786 down and 29,999,214 to go!

Surveys

I'm recently doing surveys on individuals that call to get help from Narconon Arrowhead. I'm finding that a lot of people's biggest problems are simply getting off drugs. What they need is a long-term treatment, like Narconon Arrowhead offers. Most people simply want to get their lives back. This is why I'm here to help and it feels good dedicating my life to this purpose.

Drug Awareness

Each week staff members at Narconon Arrowhead complete between 30 and 40 drug awareness interviews on radio stations across the country. Topics for this past week included starting the New Year drug-free and true stories about drug addiction.

It's awesome to tell your story to thousands of people nationwide if it can get an addict to reach for help or a family member information they are looking for. Obviously the goal is to help people lead sober, productive and healthy lives free from drugs. When we do get the message out, then I know I'm doing my job.

Eighteen Lives Were Saved

This week, Narconon Arrowhead had eighteen individuals come into the program in one week. Eighteen individuals decided to stop using drugs. That is eighteen more lives that Narconon Arrowhead has helped save from the downward spiral of addiction. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that I am a part of that!

22 million americans

Throughout the holiday season over 2,000 individuals reached for Narconon's Services (drug rehabilitation.) Over 22 million are affected by drugs and alcohol every single day. It's a wonderful feeling, everyday, to know that I am helping save lives at Narconon Arrowhead.

Reaching Out

I really enjoy working in the public contact and promotional division at Narconon Arrowhead. It's awesome to be able to reach out to the public and to let them know the true dangers of drug and alcohol addiction as well as offering them the effective services that we offer to help individuals overcome addiction.

The wins that I receive through working in the drug rehabilitation and education field are incredible!

Mass Awareness

Last week we had nearly 1,ooo people reach to us for help at Narconon Arrowhead. Sometimes it's for help for a loved one and sometimes it's for more information about drugs and addiction. Through our awareness and education campaigns we were able to reach hundreds of thousands more with the truth about drugs and the effectiveness of our drug rehabilitation program.

Hi, My name is Amanda. I work at Narconon Arrowhead, which is one of the largest and most successful drug rehabilitation and education facilities in the nation. I'm also a graduate of the program.
